Luce Scholars Program
The Luce Scholars Program is a nationally competitive fellowship that offers early-career leaders immersive, professional experiences in Asia. We aim to forge stronger relationships across geographic borders by creating opportunities for young Americans to deepen their ties and understanding of the countries, cultures, and people of Asia. Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents, the Luce Scholars Program provides stipends, language training, and individualized professional placement in Asia for 18 Luce Scholars each year, and welcomes applications from college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals in a variety of fields. Open to both U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Campus application deadline is in early October for review and feedback prior to the national deadline of October 15. Global Korea Scholarship
The Global Korea Scholarship provides funding for a Master’s or PhD program at Korean universities.
EPIK: English Program In Korea
The EPIK program is a one-year teaching assistantship in Korea. You must be a citizen of a primarily English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States or South Africa).
Knight-Hennessy Scholars
Knight-Hennessy Scholars receive full funding to pursue any graduate degree at Stanford University. This includes the JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MS, and PhD programs, as well as all joint- and dual-degrees. Open to all students; citizens and non-citizens. (Visit website for deadlines).

Through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, work for one year as an Assistant Language Teacher, Coordinator for International Relations (work in communities on international exchange projects) or Sports Exchange Advisor (promote cultural exchange through sports).

Humanity in Action Fellowship
As a part of the year-long Fellowship, Humanity in Action brings together international groups of current college and university students and recent graduates to explore compelling, current issues of liberal democracy, pluralism, human rights and social justice within the specific historical and cultural contexts of each of the program sites. Intensive and demanding, the on-site programs are an educational space for transatlantic dialogue, reflection and informed action. The Action Projects that Fellows implement in the second phase of their Fellowship experience promote democratic values in their own communities.
Heyl Graduate Fellowship to Yale
For Heyl Graduate Fellowships to Yale, any graduate of Kalamazoo College who has majored in one of the exact sciences – chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics, computer science, or any cross-disciplinary combinations of any of the foregoing—and who is a candidate for a Ph.D. degree in an eligible field at Yale University may apply.
